KHSB is a South Dakota based 501(c)3 non profit organization made up of volunteers who have been hard at work keeping Hot Springs beautiful since 2006.

Our mission is to stimulate community pride and increase individual responsibility in beautification and litter reduction through environmental education and programs.

Our Impact

In 2025 alone, Keep Hot Springs Beautiful:

  • Planted over 6oo plants throughout downtown.

  • Collected over 56 bags of trash and debris from Fall River and around town during The Great American Cleanup

  • Collected and recycled over 18,000 lbs. of aluminum cans through our trailer program.

  • Collected and recycled almost 19,000 lbs. of appliance, metal and electrical debris at Super Recycling.

  • Installed public art wraps on two utility boxes downtown.

  • Brought together over 200 individual volunteers to help clean and green Hot Springs.

  • Hung Christmas lights on 26 trees, 2 bridges and 2 picnic shelters in Centennial Park.

  • Installed a new public bench downtown.

  • Continued to work along fellow non-profits, local businesses, The City of Hot Springs and more to get beautiful things done!
