Earth Day Rummage Sale
This two-day event is held every year in April in an effort to help local residents reduce and repurpose the gently used items they no longer need. Items can be donated on Friday and shoppers arrive on Saturday in the hopes of finding a treasure. You never know what you will find: a new sofa, an antique doll house, a new lawn mower or maybe your neighbors’ dishes (that you always loved!). Shop during the last hour of the sale for our fan favorite $5 bag sale!
This sale is Keep Hot Springs Beautiful’s main source of income for the year with proceeds going to run all of our programs.

Donations we accept:
Decor, Glassware, Dishes, Books, Movies, Tools, Lawn & Garden Supplies, Furniture, Kids Toys, Sporting Goods, Bags & Luggage, Electronics, Appliances, Storage Items, Artwork and more
Things we can’t accept:
Mattresses, Clothing, Periodicals and Magazines
What happens with what’s left?
Shoppers always ask what we do with the items we don’t get sold. In our efforts to reduce the amount of waste that makes its way into local landfills, KHSB strives to find a home for everything that is left at the end of sale day. Items that can’t be donated locally, are taken to Rapid City and donated to one of their charity thrift stores with the hope they find a new home.
